Cancellation Policy

This Cancellation Policy explains how you can cancel your subscription to the Arthlekha service operated by ARTHLEKHA, and what happens after cancellation.

1. Cancellation Window

You may cancel your account at any time. There is no minimum lock-in period. Plans purchased from ARTHLEKHA are one-time payments and do not auto-renew, so there is no ongoing billing to stop.

2. Effect of Cancellation

You will continue to have access to the Service until the end of your currently paid plan period.
No further charges will be raised.
Your Customer Data will remain available to you for export until the end of the paid period.
You will not be charged for any feature that you have already paid for.

3. Data Retention After Cancellation

After the paid period ends, your account will be set to read-only for thirty (30) days. During this 30-day window you may log in to export your data (invoices, ledgers, customer/supplier masters, etc.) in PDF or Excel format. After the 30-day window, the account and all associated Customer Data are permanently deleted from our systems and cannot be recovered.

4. Refund on Cancellation

Cancellation does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund. Refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy, which permits a full refund within 7 days of payment subject to the eligibility conditions set out there.

5. How to Cancel

To cancel your account, email us at info@arthlekha.in from the email address associated with the account. Include your registered business name and the reason for cancellation. We will confirm cancellation within 3 business days and provide instructions for data export.

6. Cancellation by ARTHLEKHA

We reserve the right to cancel any account for breach of the Terms & Conditions, non-payment of dues, fraudulent activity, or use of the Service for unlawful purposes. In such cases we will notify you in writing and, where appropriate, provide a reasonable opportunity to remedy the breach.
