This website is operated by ARTHLEKHA, having its principal place of business at Ananya Shopping Complex, Shop No FS/58, Vivekananda Sarani, Sen Raleigh Road, Asansol, West Bengal – 713305, India. By accessing or using this website and the services offered by ARTHLEKHA (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

1. Definitions

"We", "us", "our", and "ARTHLEKHA" refer to the business operating this website. "You", "your", and "Customer" refer to the individual or business entity accessing the Service. "Software" refers to the Arthlekha accounting, inventory, and GST-compliance application offered through this Service.

2. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Services Offered

ARTHLEKHA provides cloud-based accounting and inventory management software, including but not limited to invoicing, GST return preparation, bank reconciliation, ledger maintenance, and inventory tracking. Specific features available to you depend on the plan you have purchased.

4. Fees & Payment

Fees for the Service are payable in advance in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes (including GST) unless stated otherwise. Once payment is captured, access to the corresponding plan is activated. All fees paid are non-refundable except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any portion of the Software, (c) upload malicious code, (d) resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent, or (e) interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.

6. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the Software, including source code, designs, trademarks, and content, remains the exclusive property of ARTHLEKHA. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your active plan.

7. Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and back up Customer Data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. Our handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available 24×7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, infrastructure outages, force majeure events, and third-party failures may cause temporary unavailability. We are not liable for any loss arising from such unavailability.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or for any other reason on reasonable prior notice. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Asansol, West Bengal.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
